The Adventures of Little Mook
A tale told somewhere between Cornwall and the moon.
This penguin is Little, blue and lost!
Little Mook is a pint sized blue penguin that finds himself miles from any place he has ever called home, as he searches for the Neon Wilderness.
The realm of Faerie.
Little Mook is part penguin, part Fey! The home of the Fey is known as Faerie - a mystical world that exists alongside our own; a place full of magic and natural wonder that has close ties to the lands of Devon and Cornwall.
Little Mook and the Moorland Spirits of Dartmoor.
Droves of spirits emerge but Little Mook soon learns that he has nothing to worry about as they tell him they have seen a penguin before - a fire enraged penguin that passed into the Neon Wilderness. A place that this little blue penguin can not hope to enter, not without some help!
Join this diminutive Penguin, as he finds his way back and forth to the faerie realm.
He explores these mysterious, ever shifting places of pure wonder, passing back and forth to Devon and Cornwall where the veil between the world is thin!
The Black Rock Giant
Early on in his journey Little Mook visits the coastline of Cornwall, and Widemouth bay - where he comes across the Wide Mouth Giant of Black Rock and his Stone Gromling pal.
On the way to Nabotoo.
Little Mook looks out over the water, from the beach of Widemouth bay.
The Sun is setting and he is waiting for the Moon to rise so that under its silver shimmering light he can travel through the waves, to where the veil between the worlds are thinnest!
Battling the waves.
Under the light of the moon, Little Mook battles the waves as he passes between the worlds.
On his travels Little Mook meets many of the Fey folk, both in the land of Faerie as well as those that have crossed over and made homes in our world.
Devon and Cornwall is a place many of the Fey folk call home and is already full of rich stories and traditions. The beautiful landscape and its vibrant history has given me a lot of inspiration behind this tale.
Little Mook meets Mango the Gromling underneath the mythical Rainbow Tree.
On the island of Nabotoo, Little Mook meets Mango. A Gromlings and one of the Fey. He is a guardian of the coastline. And protecter of the Rainbow Tree.
Little Mook rides atop of the magnificent sky whale, past the tangerine Moon.
The view in front of him is one of ever expanding wonder and beauty as Möbius tells Little Mook how he can get a piece of moon rock that will help protect him in the Neon Wilderness!
Little Mook encounters some trials on his adventure.
The trip this little penguin embarks on is not all full of wonder and friendship. Although of course there is an abundance of this. There are of course some nerve racking moments as well.
This story starts off about a little lost penguin. Out in the big wide world and looking for answers. Along the way he encounters many wondrous places and and meets many fantastic creatures.
And this is only the start of the adventures and wanderlust the this intrepid little bird will face.
The Light Dragons.
Little Mook comes across fantastical tales and real life magic. The Dragons that are born from the light of of the Mythical Rainbow Tree, in front of the portal pools, on the Island through the veil, is only one of the many amazing encounters!
Little Mook makes some great friends on his journey.
Surfing with the Gromling on the coast of Nabotoo.

The adventures of Little Mook, are tales that I have told to my son since he was born.
Inspired by and for him, now fully come to life as we live our life in Devon and Cornwall, being inspired by our surroundings.
